See what you've done to me.

Bloodshot eyes in the mirror, tell me I've been drinking. Drinking to forget you, what was I thinking. When I close my eyes, I see your face. Your melancholic eyes, your sleepy, dreamy eyes. The way you lit your cigarette, the way you smiled. Pictures in my head. See what you've done to me. You made me cry,  Can't sleep. See what you've done to me. Blond girl in the street, my heart skips a beat. Thinking it is you, hoping it is true. I run, I run. I run, I fly. Again a lie. Only know your first name, don't know where you live. You've got responsibilities, You can not leave. You run, you run. You run, you fly. Again a lie.

Charlotte.

In the land of the straightshooters, everything is sunny and nice. In the land of asses and hooters, there are men, but plenty more mice. Fridges filled with meat and red wine, cars filled with sound and cold air....cruising is so fine Frogs in trees, pigs in space. Reality crosses a fine white line Seven days without a prayer, makes one weak. The reverend makes the difference, where are the meek. Shooting skeet gives you a natural high, dad's blasting the things out of the sky. Boy of twelve forgot to bring his gun, shooting things is always a lot of fun. The neighbours are throwing a party, let's eat that shredded pork. Everything is interesting after smoking that joint. Is that Mexican sauce made in New York? Hey hi, nice to meet you all. Hey hi, have a nice day you all.

No Fairy-Tale.

I have struggled all these years, crying all my tears. ....Looking everywhere, for something that ain’t there. But the thing is..... I just can't believe. The reason to leave. I don't wanna fade away, in a misty morning, cold and gray. And the trees are waving me goodbye. I have dreamt the weirdest dream and it ended in a scream. They told me, ......It was day when it was night, it was wrong when it was right. Colours turned to black and white, everything went quiet. The limelights were switched off, empty balconies above. The audience has gone home, I'm all alone. Life ain’t no fairy-tale. But I rather spend my time in jail, then pretending something I can't be. I wonder lonely as a cloud, floating in and floating out. Over the valleys and the dales, in a never ending tale.      When I cry, it pours.

Little Girl.

Little girl, caught between two worlds. Does your mother love you still. Or is she tired, tired of fighting. Fighting against the treadmill. Little girl, trapped between two worlds. Which one to choose, how can you choose. Either one, you are bound to loose. The dark ages still rule the world. Little girl, crushed between two worlds. What will you do, what can you do little girl. You are one your own, there's no change in sight.  No one can help you, as you cry through the night. Little girl, stand up. You've gotta fight for your right. Little girl wake up.

The Empress.

See the staircase, sparkling with dew. The dress of a lady, brushes of the drops. With the left hand, she shades her face. A moonbeam enters the pavilion. She draws the bead-curtain behind her, rustling like a waterfall. Shining in the moonlight. About her slim body, there's a shiver, of the first cold of autumn. Seven grays trot, over the mountains, along the sky. The blossomwind must have spurs. In front of the inn an old frump is working. Seven gentlemen bow, in their silverwhite saddles. Seven think at the same time. Spring. Young girls. Good wine. Seven go inside. The dragonfly floats over the pond. It lies so smooth, so motionless still. That's the way my heart trembles....over your heart. Filled with grief of which she can't speak. The empress looks at the mild flames of the moon.
